Staff Changes at The AIRE Centre

27 February 2012

The AIRE Centre is delighted to welcome Nicole Francis to the team as our new- and first- Chief Executive Officer.

Nicole has previously worked as a freelance consultant and in the public sector focussing on education and economic regeneration. Nicole is joining the AIRE Centre at a time when demand for our services is at an unprecedented high and our work, in response, has been expanding rapidly. With eight funded staff posts, two consultants and a team of ten interns to manage, Nicole will provide the support and direction much needed by a charity that has always been known to punch well above its weight. We very much look forward to learning from her and working with her to continue building upon AIRE's success.

As part of this broader re-structuring, a further significant appointment sees our long-standing colleague Adam Weiss take on the post of AIRE's Legal Director. Adam is now responsible for all of the AIRE Centre's legal work, including the advice service and AIRE's growing litigation practice. Adam has been working as a full-time lawyer at the AIRE Centre since 2007 (and prior to that as an intern) and has worked tirelessly in promoting the aims of the AIRE Centre and ensuring that the legal services AIRE provides are of the highest quality.
