Human Trafficking and the Law - 2nd July 2012

HUMAN TRAFFICKING & THE LAW: Legal Arguments and Practical Legal Tools

 Date: 2nd July 2012

Venue: Royal Scotts Club, Edinburgh

Overview: The fourth conference in this Comic Relief funded project focused upon applying legal concepts to real life case studies. Feedback from previous conferences identified the need to use practical examples to illustrate the complex legal issues invoked in this area law. Therefore, tiered "beginner" and "advanced" sessions ran throughout the day on a range of topics delivered by our expert trainers:  Family Law & Care Provisions, Presentation of Claims, Criminal Law, EU Law, and Immigration Law.

Materials: Seminar presentations and other useful materials are now available on the dedicated Conference Materials page. Please feel free to circulate these widely with colleagues and other contacts who work with victims of trafficking.
